As for me, I love this song, so dark and mysterious, a truly mystical ballad, performed with such passion. A truly strong song that deserved at least a place in the top-10, if not the top-5 or even -3 placing which Portugal has been waiting for for so long. Let's hope the juries next year will allow songs like this to get more justice in the final.

i couldnt agree more, i was in the arena that night and vania and boaz blew them away. They were the best by far. I really couldnt decide about 1st place, israel or portugal would be just fine.

Absolutely agree; I would have liked to see them right up there, along with (personally) France. Ukraine and Norway can keep their good, deserving placings.

Armenia was 4th, anyway. I think the French song was one of the most contemporary this year, but it's more of a studio song, I guess.

Wow... this song represents what I love about Eurovision, and what I hate about how it's perceived. My family recognise it as a good song, but as a 'go-to-the-toilet' number as it's not 'instantly catchy'. And that's precisely what's wrong with the contest today, I fear.

Its amazing the effect music can have on us, the strength of lyrics. This performance should be praised by all and not criticized by people who are unable to separate their supposedly 'good judgement' from their nationalism.
