Ugh you can go on and on about this movie being bad but it was made for a purpose and had to be made. It had to be made to close the plot with Vesper and show his independance and how he moves on because vespers the only one he's truly loved.
I can see why this didn't do as well. It was decent but I didn't believe for a second that a little puny wimp like that land-owner guy could last 5 seconds fighting Bond. Bond kicks ass the whole movie then has a hard time against that guy? I don't think so...
As an action film, and as a sequel of kinds to Casino Royale, it could have been a lot worse. But Craig is way too serious. Where is the suaveness of Connery? Where is the humour of Moore? Where is the relaxed, almost comic approach to Bond we saw with all the other leading men? This isn't the Bond so many know and love. We've lost our caricature villains, and playful pin-up Bond girls. This is simply yet another action flick, and although it has its moments, Bond left with Pierce.
i liked the movie, i just really wished he couldve kept one girl LOL, that would be the casiano royale one.. because he was madly inlove with her. but maybe for bond 23 he should have an agent girlfriend who ACTUALLY knows how to fight and defend herself. instead of him saving the girl's life, the girl would save his life at times. that be pree cool. and also, anyone notice how the chick at the end was the ONLY girl he hadn't fucked?!
Oh! lighten up. I was just being funny. People make fun of Americans all the time. No big deal. In fact, in all the Bond movies the Americans are always depicted as being 2nd rate idiots compared to the British. Not sure what the Brits think of Canada, though. I can't remember them ever making a Canadian reference in a Bond film before, so maybe they think Canada is mostly not worth mentioning. LOL
casino royale has a much understanding storyline but this one good eneough to understand and its more action than all the other jb films best one so far
So the story gies that there is a leak, called quantum??, and James kills dozens of men to end up not killing the leak and that leaves us a wise story: Revenge isn't good?

an agent of "Quantum" probably shot him. JB left Green in the desert with a can of motor oil. replay 3:19- that should clue you in a bit. ...its vague but you can make some guesses.
Heh; that's what I meant. For once, Bond purely had a close friendship with a woman that was simply that. In short, he didn't have sex with her, which was surprising XD.
I guess it comes with the changing cultures; people don't want to see Bond with every woman in sight anymore.
@Shiek927 Or maybe their relationship was more like a friendship or comradeship based on the fact that they both were looking for a revenge for someone that had died, and therefore knew how each other felt and wanted the other to succeed in their revenge. Which is quite a new level on Bond&theBondgirl relationship.
i love james bond so much but this movie was not that good I hope the next film is alot better. alot of things just didnt make sense in this movie. Its still def enjoyable to watch though. It seems like they took somethings from older bond movies. Thank you so much for uploading this.

Such a great action flick, yet such a terrible Bond film. Craig was amazing in Casino Royale but the story was just awful.

@Maddy4Me,
Sounds like those people who didn't like Batman suddenly getting all serious either. "Where is the Cesar Romero portrayal of Joker?"
Boo fucking hoo. Welcome fo the 21st century. If you want silly, I'm sure the Pirates/Caribbean movies will be happy to oblige.

god this really sucked & they started off so well with Casino Royale....

@YerJob Casino Royale just about held on to the old, comic charm and unflappable coolness of Bond. With this, they dropped the ball completely.

Hmm. I felt like this film was rushed, it didn't flow particularly well either. Not in my top 5 bond films.

What an embarrassing attempt at a film. They could have tried to fit a storyline around the words and glances. For once.
