Three Peaks Part 7 - Steep final climb to Ingleborough

Our 3 peak group had pained expressions going up there. Like you say, it's the mental challenge but a great thing to get to the trig point!

It doesn't look that steep on this film but that part of the walk nearly finished me off! We did the walk last june in just over 10 hours. It was a great day out and in such a beautiful part of the country.

This looks like a piece of p*** on film, but its a bugger. Me and Clive did it in howling wind and rain and it took us 2 hours to get up there from Horton, it was so hard we laughed our heads off all the way up. We survived, came down and went to the psychaitrist together! LOL

This is psycological warfare, plain and simple. Not only is the moustachened warrior selecting the hardest route, he is doing so with his hands nonchalantly in his pockets. If you look closely, not only will you see the famous freaky moustache, but our hiking buccaneer doesn't even break a sweat.......The younger generation just don't measure up.
