  • 4 people are deaf

  • oh man, defrag and piano master, you're great

  • You probably played it better than rigoletto himself!

  • Wow, sorry, meant to say Liszt

  • Such a beautiful piano performance, you are amazing ;P, keep up the good job :D

  • Definitely need more classical music vids.

  • You should play more classical on your videos. Chopin's Etudes would be really impressive...

Liszt is very good too. =)

Thanks for sharing your videos =)

Oh, you have soon birthday. =D

  • I'd love to hear more classical from you, you play Liszt brilliantly. Played any of the paganini etudes?

  • Great combination! Love the Rigoletto! :)

  • Good, good

its beautiful (sry, i from argentina and no speak more ingles :P) hahaha

    Ranking 5+

  • fantastic^__^

w3sp when do you post other classical pieces? I like you in yout game music but in classical pieces you can show us your skills!! I'll wait for them XD

    --> NATÜRLICH!!!!

  • You really should post more videos of your classical piano pieces! This was awesome! You always make it look so easy..

  • you are a king player of piano. you are the next bethoveen.

  • awesome piano work!!

  • Wow, I never knew you played liszt.

Have you played any of the chopin etudes?

  • 1,5,10,12,14,17,18,21,23

  • Ah, but what is the opus?

  • first 12 etudes are op10, the next 12 are op25, so for numbers bigger than 12 you subtract 12 to get the number of op25.

    e.g. the 18th etude = op25 no(18-12) = op25 no6

    greetz

  • Ok, that makes sense.

Ironically the example you used (op. 25 no. 6) is my favorite!!!

  • thats not irony

  • Lovely.

  • You are doing fine!! remind me of Carmen Caballero

  • outstanding

  • your playing totally makes me smile :)

  • You should take a music appreciation class, they arn't random notes :)

  • This music is much more original and much more creative, AND much more difficult. It's also much more enjoyable to listen to, it's very beautiful and relaxing.

  • Down with random keys and fluttery stuff! haha, I kid, I kid; but that was the most epic description of classical music I've ever read. Gave me a giggle!

While I love classical music (especially on piano) I kind of want to say keep up the game music stuff more. While there are many talented classical pianists all over youtube, there are very few amazing game music pianists - listening to your renditions of Monkey Island music particularly bring me joy of a very different kind than Liszt. ;)

  • Now I can watch you play a classical piece. I kinda requested it, remember? :) This is one of my favorite pieces by Liszt. Nice playing. Oh, and I fully understand how stressful performing in public can be sometimes :)

  • is that what you look like??

  • OMG shame on you Kid364! I feel sorry for you, and that person who have tried to put good manners in you...

    Shame on you!

  • You must have misunderstood; I was just surprised because I've seen lots of his videos with out his face. I'm sorry for any disrespect.

  • nice vocab. but i dont get whats your problem.

  • I first thought you were trying to deride his appearance, but seeing that I have misunderstood your intention of posting that message above, I feel very much ashamed of myself. I hope you will accept my sincere apologies.

  • Its ok, i guess i can understand were your coming from also. Next time i'll try to be more specific with my choice of words lol =]

  • Internet, serious business! ^_^

  • lol

  • i think...nyyankee is trying to speak german? lol..

  • yo w3sp.. the version you posted way back in opc was much better heheh =). love this song i play it myself

  • While I love the nostalgic video game medleys and arrangements, I'm glad you posted a more "academic" piece. Your hands are a pleasure to hear and watch. I hope you keep your w3sp account going even as you get older and farther along in your career.

  • That was a fantastic performance, I could tell you were slightly stressed at moments though as the playing was a little rigid, but other than that it was wonderfully fluid and emotive.

I would love to hear your interpretation on Webers Perpetuum Mobile at some point as it would be interesting to see a Germans take on a German composers piece. :)

  • w3sp your so cool!

  • Do you know how to play Ghost by Giovanni Marradi? It is a very beautiful piece. Thanks for sharing your talent! I really enjoyed it!!!

  • could you play the hungarian rhapsody #2 by listz please? Oh, this is great too =) i just like the other one better

  • I haven't played the 2nd Rhapsody yet...only the 6th Rhapsody some years ago :)

  • @w3sp I bet I have seen this comment before, but now I found out I can relay to it. I have the sheets for the sixth rhapsody myself, and I have learned the ending with the octaves. I don't know when I will complete it doh. I just finished La Campanella wich will require alot of practising to perfect. I still want to see you make a recording of HR6! What more of Liszt have you played?

  • Well this is rather enjoyable. It's good to hear this after hearing a lot of video game piano videos. Not saying they're bad, I just find it entertaining to now watch you play other music.

  • agreed :D

    x]

    hes a real stunner aye?

    in playing the piano!

    that is :D loool

  • great work =D

which piano(grand) is it u play on?

  • Keep up the good work, have been watching you for some time now, are you doin this professionally?

  • isn't that the music you used for the credits of the "Big Piano Video"?

  • yeah even though the BPV just had little fragments of this

  • oh, by the way, nice playing!

  • adorable

  • You are so amazing that you make those who dislike piano, like it!That's saying something!!You are amazing!!Bravo to you!!!KEEP IT UP!!:)

  • lol? How is this bad quality?

  • because it isn't good quality.

  • I compare it to other videos on youtube, this one is above average on quality.

  • i guess so, but compared to what it could be, it is technically bad.

But you are right :p there is some awful crap on YT :(

  • You're awesome.

  • AWESOME

  • I love everything you've ever done and ever will do :S

  • .... erm erm.. I don't understand you

  • Sorry if my grammar isn't perfect, but what I mean is that I love everything he has done, and everything he will do in the future. I love things that don't exist yet ;)

  • WOW I ACTUALLY LIKE LISZT NOW LOL!

  • Awesome o_o really nice.

  • Another great job. You're like an idol for me ;)

  • Ammaazziinngg =D

I wish I could do that!

  • Beautiful *__*

  • excellent man, its exactly the way I would play it, if was enouph skilled to play it lol.

  • Seems really good and skilled. But this song or type would be really hard to play.

  • someone needs to work on their grammar.

  • sourtreething?

  • You. It is: "Someone needs to work on HIS grammar."

  • It could be either his or their retard.

  • No, it could not. You are not speaking of a group of people, you refer to a single person, hence singular. In addition, you did not use a capital letter for your first. I'd draw a tree with referents and possibilities, but comments do not allow such a thing. (I assume you are attempting to use GA or RP, not BEV, which you confuse it with).

  • Nice. I like it.

  • Awesome! You are really skilled.

I just went to my second piano lesson, (I started partilly inspired by you :D)

  • Gnarly

  • Very impressive!

  • Brillant Performance ^_^

  • great job! you play so gracefully :) + extra cred for performing live for an audience ;D

  • sounds playful ^_^ very nice, so that's what you look like

  • like liszt.. just shorter hair, glasses, and a different face.. but exactly like liszt!!

    btw: five stars;)

  • hm=)
