  • that is one big radio :P

  • Comment sont gérer les 3 moteurs ? SUPER la vidéo...Bonne maitrise.

  • I love the nose the three rotor/props make, cooler than my EXI 450! : )

  • Where can you get plans on how to make one of these. I have been searching but havnt had any luck

  • @IIIReaperRacingIII try to google for shrediquette tricopter

  • GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!:)

  • @guillaumeO7 :

this vid is so old... You should see what I can do now with my micro tricopter... :-D

  • Awesome! Check your messages for some questions from me.

  • cool heli, but why do so many europeans use such ginormous radio controllers? lol i see this in so many videos... looks silly lol

  • Hehe, maybe we're more concerned about developing cool stuff than about looking cool.... ;-D

Actually I learned to fly 15 years ago, at that time these were the radiocontrollers available. I always wanted to learn to fly with a small "hand-held" remotes, but I simply do not have "the feeling" with hand-held remotes. And I can't buy a 600 Euro remote control just to try something "cool"....

  • Great work! Three points of thrust seems very symmetrical and versatile. I like the arrow configuration - it bodes well re stability and agility, and I also feel it could alter 'forward' configuration very quickly. Also, three rotors means less surface area per blade, so higher blade speed and more potential stored power.

The only downside I see is torque. Are all three rotors (anti)clockwise? Is it susceptible to a fall in power to a single rotor? I'd imagine that would destabilise it fast.

  • Thanks for the positive feedback. Two motors are CW, one motor is CCW. So the motor on the back is always tilted slightly. If one motor fails, the thingy will crash. But the same is also valid for quadrocopters...

When are you gooing to install a camera under the UFO?

    Tolle Sache, Respekt!

  • Actually I just ordered three new motors two days ago... That gives the copter enough power to lift my camcorder...

  • cool, freue mich auf weitere Videos. Gruss aus Canada

  • Sehr gut! Klasse Video und tolles Projekt.

    Mach weiter so!

  • Genial!

  • Amazing precision, keep the good work going on.

    gds

  • Cool!
