Yes, I was freezing just in the short time I was outside! Of course, when one is bored in "bush" Alaska, one finds often odd things to do!

Just what does 40 below FEEL like? I live in the UK and the coldest ive ever experienced is -15 celcius!

Like you are inside your freezer - turned down so it's even colder!
Every breath you take feels like a drag on a menthol cigarette. Your skin tightens instantly around your face as soon as it makes contact with the air. So cold it almost feels like it's burning.
