The movie is a remake/adaption of the TV Show, not a continuation. Same plot as the show, but changed from Vietnam war to Middle East. At the end of the series it was hinted that they would just be doing what they did while they were still on the run (the hires for hire thing).

But it wasn't exactly there fault they got tied up in that mess in the first place. They were following orders after all with the conception that what they were doing was going to help end the war.

When I first heard of them making an A-team movie, I was scared that they were going to ham it up like they did with Starsky and Hutch and the Dukes of Hazzard. But the cast is solid, and the production pics look good so far. This trailer would make for a great t.v. reunion movie, however.

they aren't using the same actors from the show, but that doesn't mean it will suck. This is a movie BASED off the tv show, not a movie continuing the show. Using the actors from the tv show would be pointless. The original cast was good, but their time has passed. Seeing them in a made for tv reunion movie, however, would be awesome. Seeing them reprise their role in a theatrical reimagining would be too hard to believe that men in their 50's and 60's would be able to do the stuff the ATeam did

So far it looks like yes there will be an A-Team film coming out soon.

Personally I like this idea a great deal. Having other actors(even talented ones)play these parts seems virtually impossible.
