@TheRogueMonk I'm sorry, I doubt any Ninjutsuka would stoop to showing their face at an MMA match. We are not a competitive system. Mainly because competitions do not allow weapons, eye gouging, biting, bone breaking and all those other things that would allow us to win no matter what!
I do the roll to the knee version, but don't have to step like that to get up because I tuck my toes so I'm all the ball of the foot. I can just come strait up without the motion impeded that way.

@Paullugg Just something to bear in mind when tucking in your toes I know its easier to get up but if someone is good and know what they are doing may step on your foot/ankle and break it. if they catch you coming out of a roll.With foot flat they can't do as much damage so its damage limitation too.
