  • I grew up watching Mr. Wizard's World before I went to school every morning. I loved all of the neat experiments & things he would do! This brings back awesome memories, thanks for uploading this gem of original Nickelodeon history, BenW783a!

  • haha i was 9 years old living in tacoma washington and this show would come on first thing at 6 or 7 am in the morning, it would be the show i would watch right before catching the schoolbus! love for science rules!

  • I miss this show. It was never as popular as Bill Nye became, but it was great.

  • Mr. Wizard was awesome. Hands down the best sicence show apart from Bill Nye.

  • @animefan1238 Bill Nye aint got nothin on Mr.Wizard. I like the fact that Mr.Wizard wasn't silly. It was a serious show presented in a manner that kids could understand. It was hands down my favorite show as a kid. Mr.Wizard got to play with cool things I couldn't as a kid, like lasers. :D

  • He entertained millions, he turned tons onto science, he did it all from his kitchen, and I was among millions lucky enough to see him. Thanks Mr. Wizard.

  • The ORIGINAL Bill Nye The Science Guy right here

  • @90sAreAllThat Midnight Be Here!!!! Channel "TeenNick"!!! "Classic Nickelodeon" Coming Soon...

  • This video brings me back about 25 years. I seriously wish that Nickelodeon would have a retro network with all of its old school TV shows from the 80s & 90s on it. Who's with me there? :)

  • @leenbean1981 Ah yeah, I am with you there. I may be an adult now, but I'd still watch a few of my old kids shows from when I was a youngin.

  • @leenbean1981

ME ME ME!!!! I sooooo agree and many do my friends. This idea has come up time and time again the last decade with my friends. Lets make it happen! :)

  • @leenbean1981 Great idea! I bet only ages 28 and up would watch it though!

  • OMG I used to watch this before going to school every morning!!!

  • @90sAreAllThat Midnight Be Here!!!! Channel "ToonNick"!!! "Classic Nickelodeon" Coming Soon...

  • OMG, I MISS THIS SHOW, I ALWAYS WATCH THIS IN THE MORNING!!!!

  • What in the holy hell kind of handle is BenW783a, seriously. YouTube has the dumbest user community on the Internet, rivaled only by the content thieves at FunnyJunk.

  • I received my science education from Mr. Wizard and my social awareness from Mr. Rogers.

My real teachers were horrible. Boring. Mean. Lazy.

Remember that old throat choke thing kids were doing back then? Where you cut off the blood circulation by pressing on the side of your neck and then the dude would just pass out?

We did that IN class... WITH a teacher there. He didn't care... at all. He was reading the newspaper with his feet on the desk.

    Scumbag.

  • i loved mr wizzars

  • I'll just wait here for anyone else who saw Saturday Night Live tonight and their first instinct was to look up this video.

  • I loved watching this show because it was the first thing that came on after Nick at Night ran their reruns. Thanks for the memories.

  • @jwdogfst No problem. Thanks commenting :)

  • @jwdogfst I would wake up at 5 as a kid to watch this show. todays shows suck or just aren't for kids and shouldn't be like cartoon network now plays adult cartoons

  • I think I hated this show as a kid. Still, I'm not one to turn down a nostalgia trip

  • I think I hated this show as a child. Still, I'm not one to turn down a nostalgia trip.

  • Respond to this video... he's the original bill nye!

  • I knew I had stayed up too late watching Nick @ Nite if the sun was up and this was on.

  • Remember this

  • I fucking loved this show!!!!

  • oh i miss old nickelodeon. = (

  • @Quatsch84 I hear ya bro! That was from the days of my youth!

  • @Quatsch84 : So do I friend.....so do I...

  • What is with that ancient camera in the intro? Who uses those anyway? There are camera phones and ipads now!

  • @jmoon219 You have to remember that this show ran in the 1980s and 1990s. There were no such things back then. And for people born in the 1980s such as myself, this is a great piece of nostalgia of a fantastic era. Not just in fantastic tv programs, yet also in life itself.

  • @jmoon219 Yeah, but those things printed the picture out too.

  • A bit of nostalgia for the old folks.

  • @Mattm1986 Old folks?! I was born a year before you, in 1985, and I still remember reruns of this in 90, when I was five.

  • @rellman

LOL. I didn't literally mean OLD. Bit of nostalgia is a song/skit by Frank Zappa on the album Lumpy Gravy. And the first line is "a bit of nostalgia for the old folks." And I thought of that when I watched it so thats what I typed.

  • @Mattm1986

    I'm BARELY 26. I'm not old! lol

  • @PurrrrGatorI ur OLD! give it up perv!
