  • haha i have a miserable KD of like 1.2 but thats mainly because when i first got black ops i sucked miserable now i have prestiged a couple times and have found the class that has worked for me but lately i average a KD of 2 and up on matches.

  • ... Your arms are recovering on the chest day. so i recomend 3 resting days each week and the rest should be work out days. if you are working really hard on each workout day then try to avoid doing the same muscle twice in a week.

  • the reason your arms aren'tgetting soar is because since your doing it multiple days in a row the muscles are already ripped so you cant double rip them. the key to gaining muscle is recovery time. say one day you do your arms then the next day you do your chest then the next day take a break then the next day do legs then the next day do abs then the next day do your back then take to more days off and keep doing that each week. and say you did arms the first day and then chest the next day...

  • aim for 8-12 reps around 3 sets. Different 'curls' workout different sections of the arm so research several different types. Bear in mind the forearm is the bigger muscle so dont ignore those. Before ending a session, do a super set (start on a heavy weight until u cant do any more, then immediately go to a lower weight until u cant do any more) This will help u get the most out of your workout.

  • I was wondering about the IR scope that it your tv that is giving it that kind of color or contrast, or is it your settings in the tv picture that gives it that nice distinct blue and white coloring of buildings and people. My tv is like too dark so you cannot see the buildings and people clearly to tell if you are aiming in the right direction or thing.

  • the best way to build muscle is to take the largest amount of weight and really strain your arms, this causes the muscle to break down and have to rebuild itself stronger.

  • You are experiencing delayed onset muscle soreness(D.O.M.S), a medical phenomenon idiopathic in nature, basically excessive muscle strain will later cause soreness and loss of range of motion in that mechanic of movement. However repeated frequency of muscle strain will decrease symptoms very quickly. for example, body builders typically don't get sore after a workout... but if they take a few weeks off and get back into it the first few days are very uncomfortable.

  • Everything MORGE451 said is right except there are a few muscle groups you can train on consecutive days like abs, forearms and calves. You use these muscles the most throughout the day so it takes a little more to get them worked really well.

  • Also don't work the same muscle every day. Do arms and another muscle one day and 2 other muscles the next day and repeat that pattern. Overworking one muscle can injure you.

  • Wings, if your muscles aren't getting sore when you are doing your work outs to the point where you can't pick the weight up, it means that you are getting stronger, or you are drinking a protein shake within half an hour of doing this. If you ever do a workout and your muscles get sore, the next time you do that work out, drink a protein shake immediately after and you wont be sore :) hopefully this helps :)

  • Wings as much as I understand your 4 requirement, I just wanted to make a point. On the PS3 (especially in the first couple of months) because the lag was so bad...people kept on dropping (hence destroying their win/loss ratio). Eg, I have only actually played around 100 games, but have 100 wins and 100 losses (like 3 rage quits max).

  • what u need to do when ur not feeling pain anymore is up ur workout. Cause ur muscle has grown stronger and no longer struggles with what ur putting it through. So if you're lifting 15 lbs weights or whatever, up it to 20 with the same reps. But thats if u want muscle mass. If you want tone just go for A LOT of reps with low lbs weights

  • @lurkingspark That's what Hupit is for. I used to have the same problem, also a k/d around 1.8 . Then I checked out Hupit, found a team and my W/L is going up like crazy. It's also really easy to get good games with a good team. My k/d is around 2 now. Just check it out.

  • For your arms the reason they don't get as tired is because you muscles have this thing called muscle memory. What you need to do is work out you arms until you can't lift the weight like you said. (about 3-5 sets of 15) of however much weight. The next week increase the weight by 5 Lbs. My football coach always told me if you want to get stronger your muscles need to relax after a good workout. Say you do arms on Monday. Tuesday do legs or abs. Then Wednesday go back to arms. Hope this helps.

  • You shouldn't train the same muscle groups on consecutive days. when you do weight training what you are actually doing is making tiny rips in the muscle. Over the next 48 hours or so new muscle fills in the rips and builds up, getting bigger and stronger. If you train that muscle group before this has happened, it won't get any bigger as it just tears more. It is fine to work different muscle groups on consecutive days.

  • 90% of the players with good stats rage quit the crap outta black ops, if i see a guy with gd stats i know hes gonna dashboard after weve beat him to a pulp. Theres always the point per minute thing (lobby leaderboard) to consider too if playing objective games that way you can weedle out the non objective mugs with 3000 kills 10 flag caps etc.

  • wings my ratio is about 0.62 the only reason why is most of the time when i rage quit and i have to back out of a games cause of my connection but my kd ratio is 1.93 but i still consider myself as a consistant player

  • they dont get sore because you already built your endurance, your arms are getting worked but they are use to stretching and rebuilding.

  • @WingsofRedemption ive been weight lifting and conditioning since the 7th grade for football. im in 11th right now so i have some experience. when you first start weightlifting you should have gotten sore but after the first few times and your body gets used to working out you wont get sore anymore. its because the muscles build stamina and endurance and your body starts to produce whats necessary to recover. only if you got out of routine will you get sore again. Keep up the good work!

  • increasing the weight you are using should get the 'ache' back in your muscles. Only increase the weight every 4-6 weeks or so. Also, change the way you are using your muscles. If your doing curls in the same way all the time, your muscles get used to it so switch up your routine. search for some different arm exercises and try some of them out. keep it up tho!

  • the first time i did arm curls with 35-pound dumb-bells, my arms were on fire also but it's because of latic acid buildup and your working that part of your body to the max which is a good thing. Next time I did 35-pound dumb-bells, I did 2-3 times as many as i could before without getting sore.

  • the only decent IR rifles are the m16 and the enfield... i wouldnt know which else you'd have fun trying actually. The AUG IR does not get reduced centerspeed but it fires too fast. I think you should go with the FAL or M14 IR and try them out

  • ... breaking down of food requires calories, the longer your body is breaking down the food the more calories burned. Also a calorie is a calorie, it does not matter where it is from, you eat more than you burn off you put on weight, the less more you burn off than you consume you lose weight, simple.

    Your body Catabolises (breaks down) the most in your sleep, try not to consume to many carbs before bed and your body will burn fat during sleep.

    There is no need to diet, sensible food + exercise!

  • The soreness you are experiencing is call Delayed On Set Muscle Soreness (DOMS), that is commonly felt a day or two after exercise, particularly if you have had a hard session or your body is not used to exercise. Its caused by damage of the muscle tissue which is normal when lifting weights, its important during the early stages you don't over do it, it takes time to put on muscle.

    Diet wise try a high protein diet as protein has a high Nitrogen level and take a long time to break down

  • @wingsofredemption if you're not feeling sore anymore with the 25lb weights you need to go heavier with the weights. Get yourself some 30lb weights or heavier. You also have to try supersets as well.

  • DOMS is caused by tiny microscopic tears that occur in the muscle as a result of high intensity exercise (such as weight training, intense cycling, etc). After the workout, the muscle begins to rebuild itself (provided it is allowed enough time and nutrients to recover). This is the rebuilding process which creates new muscle that is bigger and stronger than before. In other words, your muscles are growing. Your muscles grow when you are at rest - not when you're at the gym.

    2k/d  1.2 w/l is well above average. Especially if you are a solo player the 1.2 w/l is good.

  • Being sore after a workout depends on a lot of different factors. During your workout yes it is because of lactic acid buildup but in the days followin it is more a matter of the repair thats goin on in the muscle. If some days you are sore and some days you are not dont worry because being sore is absolutly zero indcation of how well you worked out. Just beause your not sore does not mean you didnt have a good workout.

  • @zcro1 Usually, if your not sore, then you didn't build muscle. That's just an exercise to keep muscles you currently have at a working level.
