In the early 60s I became one of the top cross country runners in Illinois because I had only ten minutes to run home to make it in time for the three stooges....God bless all three of them....they were the best because you could never seen them in real life as they were so unbelievable...wow first time I have seen an interview of one of 'em...true as one poster said sounds like Stallone and looks like Ringo Starr
Mi viejito Larry saben algo amigos que mirandolo así es algo medio especial por que se lo vé bien y solo le falta alguna de sus gracias y que Dios lo tenga con el haciendole reir un poquito un abrazo donde te encuentres Puerco Espin.
Just think, if "Mr. Mann" Larry spoke of did not commit suicide, the Stooges would have never formed. Strange.
Obviously, these guys were funny, but they were also admirable hard-working gutsy gentlemen. Wish we could seen a message in a bottle back in time to say thank you.
A fascinating interview with information about the recycled sets, etc. Today (January 24, 2011) is a good day to watch this as its the thirty-sixth anniversary of Larry's death. Gone, but not forgotten...
I'm 30 years old and have been a stooges fan since i was old enough to turn on a tv set. Larry Moe Curly and Shemp had the timing down for perfect comedy.
Big influence on 'stimpy' on ren and stimpy. Fuck the a hole interviewing this guy. He is a legend. He sounds like stallone a little bit but he's drunk and talkin. thank you
I remember when Larry paseed on in 1975 ( I was about to turn 11 that year)
and I also remember Moe's last appearance on Mike Douglas--- my mom was driving me to school later that year when I heard about Moe dying. Howard Cosell did his 'Speaking Of Sports" bit a few minutes before 9AM, and he spoke about Moe and their friendship and all that. I was one sad kid that day :-(
Just listen to how sharp his memory is, after all those years and a stroke! Just goes to show you that we may be old on the outside but as young as ever on the inside! RIP Larry!
Thanks for making his sound so much better!, I've seen this on another posting but it sounded so muffled I could only understand a portion of what he was saying. He seemed like such a nice, kind man. Thanks for all the laugh's Larry, unfortunately we'll never see this flavor of comedy again... except in Stooge reruns.
how can any one not like this interview

Billy West caries Larry's name with pride, in his vocal performances.

I heard about a new stooges movie with Jim Carrey as Curly, Sean Penn as Larry, and Benicio del Toro as Moe.

@Deke100-
thank you so much for putting this on here.
i have scoured the internet for years looking for rare interviews of the three stooges.
instead of watching power rangers in the early 90s, i would watch them. on TBS.
they WERE, ARE, and ALWAYS will be my favorite comedians.
thanks again!

This is after his stroke, which is why his speach is slurred. He passed away in January 1975. This is from shortly before he left us.

Good job on the audio my friend. I did a short Larry tribute with a few of his clips. It's here on Youtube as For The Love Of Larry. Check it out.
