  • this might be the only french military victory evet

  • @SSt4rr nah the francs actually had quite a few military victories, but they were badass; the modern french, not so much.

  • 0:55 and on HAHAHAHA

  • thats gonna hurt in the morning

  • the sounds comming from the forest are excellent !

  • 1:02 is just priceless

  • "Run Away! RUN AWAY!"

  • haha omg genious plan... power tools.

i love how the gaurd looks the the left

  • look if we built this large wooden badger... MOO!!!

  • SO much for logic. Hes got a talent with explaining stuff. A coplete schoolar. Specialist on history and witches.

  • ha, so original! who would mind a rabbit??? only them, 5 stars

  • ahahaha, jemmer made a fool out of all of you.

    Run away!

  • I love how they always yell Run away!

  • Great Clip!

Go gently on Jemmer. He was trying to make a bad joke that kind of sailed over everyone's collective heads. The tale of the Trojan Horse was first mentioned in The Odyssey, written by Homer in about 800BC. Jemmer's only crime was trying to trip everyone up by invoking the Simpson name at the start of his post, which of course ruined the joke.

Did I mention this is a great clip? :)

  • Actually, the Trojan Horse was in the Iliad. It's the story of the Trojan War.

The Odyssey is the tale of Odysseus's return back home to Ithaca after the war.

Just felt like being a geek :P

  • However, one geek to another, the Trojan Horse is never mentioned in the Iliad. The first mention is made in the Odyssey (Books IV and VIII), and further described in Virgil's "Aeneid". :)

  • Actually you should maybe read the Iliad, because it ends with the death of Hector, not the sacking of troy :p

  • It exists in the Little Iliad. Both the sack of Troy and Achille's death.

Iliad may end with Hector's funeral but it doesn't narrate what happened later, and Odyssey only begins after the city was destroyed.

In the actual timeline, The city a few years after Hector's death

  • yeah, but we're not (or at least i am not) referring to anything other than the Iliad. "The Trojan Horse was in the Iliad" is an incorrect statement was my point.

  • If i remember correctly (there have been a few years since i last read it), there is a mention about the horse in the Iliad. I could be wrong though. I'm not sure.

But yeah the entire story is not in the Iliad, you're right on that

  • I can only suppose he was joking.. He cant be that stupid guys.. I hope...

  • He even defended himself.

  • I have never asked this of a Human Being before, but are you retarded? I mean, do you occasionally choke on your own spit? cos that's a sign of mental retardation. Monty python was way before Simpsons. The simpsons probably just made a parody of this very sketch.

  • AxeIHL, you've been pwned!

800 BC, Homer, think about it."Try" and think about it, with an O, I don't know.

No one knows his last name, so it could just as well have been "Simpson", I suppose. Geez Us Chriminy.

  • Ha ha, jemmer is quality.

  • jemmer, you're an idiot.

  • This movie was made in the seventies, babe. Sorry to burst your bubble, but this scene is kind of a rip off (if you will) from the Trojan Horse story in ancient mythology.

  • hahahaha, please tell me your joking.. this film was made in the 1970's!!! hehehehehe

  • dude..... are u being serious?

  • The simpsons is only 18 years old and the holy grail was shown in theatres in 1975! And, the trojan horse story is even longer before then, if anyone, mony python copyed greek history, Not the stupid Simpsons!

  • that was for jemmer100

  • FAIL

  • your a mess jemmer
