is way too low compared to a car to pretend of being respected just because u changed the lane in a fraction of second. It's the same thing as if you were in a car, see the queue and suddenly change the lane....that is not how you should drive. I'm a bike rider myself but for sport not for daily commuting, I make about 8000 km's each year and I must say that this is NOT how a cyclist should ride around. Not sure if it applies north of the border, but that kind of aggression seems to fit the description in S59 of the Police Reform Act perfectly, in that it "is causing, or is likely to cause, alarm, distress or annoyance to members of the public".

If that act doesn't apply, there should be a local equivalent.

The act avoids the necessity of the police going through any other prosecuting authority, so they may be more likely to utilise it (one warning, then confiscation of car).

The fact that you both decided to change lane at the same time doesn't excuse his poor driving, If he had wanted to pass you then he should of changed lane then pass, not ride up behind you to overtake, some people here seem to have forgotten about keeping a distance, look at 01:18 for instance. Gap between you and him is often <1sec when it should be 3sec. Anyone here who thinks this guys driving is OK needs to stay off the road.
