Oil speculators are creating value regardless of the opinion of Obama.

I'm glad we're agreeing on some things, but again I don't think greed is the word you're looking for. Hunger, drive; these are better words for what you mean. Greed is by definition taking more than you need, it describes someone who lives in excess. Think of food, would you call someone greedy if they ate a fairly reasonable amount? No. Greed only applies to those that over-consume.

Greed - excessive or rapacious desire, especially for wealth or possessions.

Diligence - constant and earnest effort to accomplish what is undertaken; persistent exertion of body or mind.

Working hard to achieve a goal can be a great thing, but you don't seem to have goals in mind other than making money. Money in itself is useless, so why bother?
