Mike Sweeney was a class act. He was a heck of a ballplayer but yes a definite true leader. Solid contact, average and power hitter. Too bad he couldn't have stayed healthy for his whole career. He is definitely the type of guy you want on your roster and in your clubhouse because he makes the whole team better. After watching this video, its like he is the Tim Tebow of baseball haha

@DetroitMustang Jered Weaver is a badass. He's one of the hardest pitchers to hit, and he's got the stamina of a racehorse. He's always pitching 8+ innings in a game. Verlander is the only guy that you could say is better than him right now, and Jered will most likely be the better in a couple years. Jered Weaver would fight Ryan Howard if he charged the mound. I can remember one game (I think it was against the Giants) that he ran from 1st to 2nd while he was on field when Victorino caught a routine fly that doubled up a runner from 2nd. He was jumping up and down b/c it was a good play. It did turned out to be an inning ending double play. He was so enthusiastic about the game of baseball. He played with humility. Great ballplayer!

I always thought Mike Sweeney was a jerk, until I saw this video. He reminds me of Shawn Michaels: A born again christian, someone who went through his fare share of heartbreak and triumph. I can honestly say my opinion of him has changed for the better. A class act guy. All the best to you Mike!!
