Someone has to be responsible.You should try yelling at the "idiot owners" of animals who dont spay or neuter or the owners who allow their animals to run free.Thats where the problems start. If they werent humanely euthanized, theyd be in the streets getting hit by cars, starving to death or slowly, painfully, dying of disease.Watching animals die everyday is NOT and does NOT get better each time. People who work with animals have the biggest hearts. Volunteer at a shelter and see for yourself.
I don't know what kind of person could do this job, without being constantly haunted by the tens of thousands they watch being euthanized for lack of a home, or the injured ones that idiot owners allowed to roam free, etc. You have to have an ability to shut your heart off, if you have this job, I imagine.
