i too am stupid. i have been bitten 4 times by eels. every time i was holdding octipie, they have horrible eyes GREAT sense of smell. Hurts like hell, dug teeth out of hand for weeks. I TOTALLY disagree with feeding of ALL wild life. I'm sure some jackass will say what about man handeling the octopuse??? Well i inform students of how smart/awsome they are, put them back in there holes nicely, even defend them from eels that smell me playing with them.

dont feed the wild life. What happens when someone else dives the same spot and the fish attacks them, knowing that the rubbery diver is a source of food? Do not interact with wildlife, especially dangerous wildlife. Go and leave without a trace.
