Hello Genia - I forgot to mention that Alan Delon was a massive God of a silver screen when I was in high school and college in Warsaw. His memoirs should be interesting since he - either had affairs or was briefly married to some most beautiful stars of his day. I read an interview with him - given recently in France - he still looks good but these days he spends a lot of time with his grandchildren. Thanks for this fabulous upload! Last night, I watched a video of him on Dick Cavett in 1970, I was amazed that he was tall, I thought he would be short. Other than that, I have seen him in Purple Noon (a great movie) I had to buy in on e bay...It was the first Talented Mr. Ripley and I also saw Luchino Visconti's "Il Gattapardo" .

His profile says 5.11 3/4 what means 182sm and i think it's true. He is definatelly not short but people usually think he is about 175sm (5,8), some actors look shorter on screen because of body type..:)) It's not only him, many others..:))

Alain Delon was great in L'Eclipse (The Eclipse) of Michelangelo Antonioni and yes, he is awesome in Plein Soleil (Purple Noon) and Luchino Visconti's Gattopardo and Rocco & His Brothers. Very nice comedy "Borsalino" with him and Belmondo!

I did see Purple Noon....after Talented Mr. Ripley, I had to see it. I bought it on e bay...It was wonderful..

I loved the ending and I did see him in Il Gattapardo. I love Visconti. The others I have now on my list to see.

So many good films, so little time...:-) I still have to see the Udo Kiers....I hope Netflix has these films.
