Lovely! I had a few questions. Where is the white bridge (2:26)? Is that Stokesey Castle? and is the village (5:02) apart of the castle. Love the racoon! Thanks for showing the beauty of Reading.
This is why I like Reading. Although I am not a Reading citizen, I think I like it and respect much more that people who lives here. I live in another country, but I have relatives that lives there and every summer I visited Reading. Now have been two years ago since I went to Reading and I just can't wait to visit again this wonderful town. From Mt. Penn to Lauderdale, I just love Reading. Now people\, you to valorize your roots. So be proud to be or have been part of this city.
Reading does have alot of potential, I grew up there and left in 96 and never returned. I always do remember how beautiful it is in the fall though. Too bad revisiting is depressing because so much has changed in the wrong direction. I still have my childhood memories though, a time when you could walk the whole city without a bulletproof vest. Anyway thanks for the video.
MCVincenzo, you just mademy day. Althought I'm Puerto Rican and I live in Puerto Rico, Reading, PA and Berks County means a lot for me. I just got a lot of tears in my eyes watching this. Thanks a lot for posting this video. Sorry about my English, but I had to say how thankful I am about this video. Have a nice day!!!
Nope, it is. It was shot all around Reading -Antietam lake, Grings Mill, Blue Marsh Lake, on Mt Penn and Exeter. Reading has some beautiful places just outside the city and some great hiking trails.
The Reading address includes every place that is in the video. The video is not called Reading City, but Reading, although most of the places are within just a few miles of the city as well.
@ivyalamo It's Reading!!! When people say Reading,Pa they think of downtown Reading, city all the time.Really,it should have been called Berks County,Pa.I loved the beautiful pictures.
The white bridge is the viaduct, located pretty much down the hill from Stokesay.

I'd figure it was the towns surrounding Reading. I know the inside of Reading isn't this nice.
