The roset and head of his guitar indicate that Fukuda uses Jose Romanilos's guitar to play this pieces. Normally, Fukuda uses Sakurai's guitar. Isn't it?
No- Can't see that myself. He is very technically 'brilliant'. Having listend to this piece in its original form though, I have completely gone of this arrangement as it sounds nothing like how the compostion was originally written. I am now reworking how I play it, more like Cacho Tirao perhaps...
I don't see him use it at all, I see it move in 'sympathy'.....The pinky and third finger are linked in such a way that you cannot move one without the other being in some way affected. May be wrong though.. hard to tell.
dude im talking about his right hand.. in classical guitar you never use the pinky.. thats why i asked if any conservative players saw it.. and as for the left you can move the pinky without moving the ring finger it is the mark of the true master.
I am a conservative player, I've played/ perfomed/ taught pure classical for many, many years! I know how to move my little finger independently on my left hand. That's why I am talking about his RIGHT HAND. And I repeat- I don't see him use his right hand pinky, I think it is moving in sympathy. Cheers.
Oh, you said pinky and third finger not a and m thats why i thought you meant the left hand.. he is most definetely using the right hand pinky in a very pronounced way .. he throws it out there look again its as if hes making a point about it.. thats pretty much unheard of.. no hard feelings
It's called "soporte gitano" which means "gypsy stand" as it's used mostly by flamenco guitar players. It helps to get the guitar in the best position, the same as the small stool where guitar players place the left foot in general. Some guitar players choose this one as it doesn't requires to turn up the leg and hip, that can be really disturbing after playing for a while.
pretty good playing. i am currently learning this piece and can any1 help me on the last part when only the chords are played. i dont know what technique to use.
Sorry, I thought it was someone else playing Verano Porteño. But now that I ve heard the first 32 bars, I MUST say: music is an ART...when are people going to understand that? Takes a little more...

Who's arrangement of Verano Porteno is this?
Cassious675 1 year ago
@Cassious675 Guys of this calibre often make their own arrangements. If not so, it sounds pretty much like the Benitez arrangement.

@Cassious675 Benitez probably, though his fingerings do not always correspond with that arrangement.

Best version of this on Youtube in my opinion! Amazing technique, your right hand is lightning fast, and great expression also.
Can I ask who made your guitar? It looks like the body is quite small - is it based on a Torres?
GGGuitar04 4 years ago
I think it look like a Jose Luis Romanillos.

Thanks, I googled this guy ( Shinichi Fukuda) and it turns out he is a world renowned classical guitarist, so no surprise it sounds so good!
According to the a list I found this guitarist has played the following:
Hermann Hauser II, Germany, 1961
Robert Bouchet, France, 1966
Ignacio Fleta, Spain
Robert Ruck, U.S.A., 1985
Masaru Kohno, Japan, late 1990s
GGGuitar04 4 years ago
He sometimes uses a Sakurai Guitar Kohno's successor.
By the way, did you watch his Barrios.
it is soooo good. just serch barrios.
