@awritersaint08 - A good start is to view the documentaries "The Corporation" (available here on YouTube), "Food, Inc." (may not be uploaded yet, but you can rent it from your video store) and "The World According To Monsanto (YouTube viewing).

Dont take my word on it alone. Please read about and talk to farmers who have been burned by Monsanto's system. Ditto for Monsanto's lobbyists who pull the strings quietly at Capitol Hill. Consider all sides, then decide. Thanks.
