history has proven that there is no possible way that holiday could have killed ringo. holiday wasnt even in the same county. this movie is a joke. quaid should have gotten the supporting oscar for his role as holiday in 94. he lost so much weight and was mean as hell. "All of you can kiss my rebel dick!" all of tombstones lines were so corny.

@1hogfan83 I agree with you that Wyatt Earp is more historically accurate than Tombstone. I also agree that Quaid gave a great performance in that movie. However, Tombstone is a far superior movie. Wyatt Earp is a character sketch. It barely evens fits into the Western genre. Tombstone has all the classic elements of a great western movie, and while Quaid was good, Val Kilmer was better. If you need historically accurate, go rent a documentary. Tombstone is pure entertainment.

Anyone who found this movie as incredibly entertaining as I, should also check out Unforgiven with Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman and 3:10 to Yuma (2007) with Russell Crowe and Christian Bale. Three of the best modern westerns ever made, in my opinion.
