Shredding does'nt mean jack. I can play 2000 notes per second with a "pick" but playing flamenco guitar is about music, not speed. It only takes about a month to learn the modes and start shredding. To play a buleria in compass like this guy will take at least 5 years if you're dedicated.

This is not a matter of right or wrong, we all have different tastes. My personal taste is different to yours, so how is that a problem? This Bulería istechnically brilliant but does not touch me: it rocks but it does not bleed Bulería. Flavio is obviously a wonderful human being as well as a superb player but this particular Bulería does not quite get to me. No on has to justify themselves to you- we are not taking an exam with a right or wrong answer, we are just all saying what we feel.

I agree with you. You play very well and your alzapua is especially good but for Bulería my own tastes I prefer Niño Jero or Moraito. I like the Bulería a little slower ( savorearlo) . I believe in democracy and free expresssion and in "hablando se entiende la gente"; as you can see not all people are so demcratic. Very good luck with your playing.
