Im Azn and this isnt offensive to me, and yes a lot of asians still try to lighten their skin . Its still considered beautiful in most of Asia, and NOT because they want to be white. I think a lot of people confuse a very very old standard of beauty in Asia for racism or envy. Whats the problem with this video? nothing. @MrsBooker100 anthropologically speaking most cultures around the world have a preference for light skinned women, this was true in some cultures even before they came in contact with whites. The preference for fairer skinned east asian women goes way back. Some of the asian women that lighten their skin aren't trying to look like european women they are trying to look like lighter skinned versions of themselves. Just as white women who tan aren't trying to look like other races.

not all asians are really yellow. I'm Japanese and I'm pale skinned. I do know that Koreans and Japanese People have the same skin type. South East Asians on the other hand are kind of naturally tan. Being tan from the sun looks horrible, but being naturally tan is not bad. I know that people in the Philippines are using several whitening products, that really work. So at some times, they could pass by being eastern asian.
