I have been following the career of Versus from the mid-'90s. They are far and away the best independent band to originate out of that period. I think this song, "Double Suicide", will wind up becoming a seminal piece. When Versus opened for Mission of Burma in Philadelphia in June of '08, Richard Baluyut described MOB as "Living Gods". I consider Versus to be Living Gods. "Play it, Richard!"
