i think mr. so is not the original singer, his "Sole 4" probably is the 2nd generation of this ad. I really like this one leh, make me think of my old days..haha..this was shot in my school and when i saw this ad. i love Ekin so much.

I think they wanted that girl-next-door look. She's pretty perfect for the role.
Don't think the story would've been convincing if she was some skinny popular-looking cheerleader type girl.
And she's not "so" chubby. She's just got a rounder face.
