I agree that speed limits are important on most roads, however on modern, limited access highways they serve no purpose. There is no correlation between lower speed limits and lower death rates on highways. Many countries in Europe with higher speed limits, including Germany with no speed limits on the Autobahn (well designed limited access road with medians) have lower death rates per 1 billion km driven than US interstate. Wow, as a driver trainer this video is impactful. I used it last night in class, and the tears were rolling, talk about emotions. If this video doesn't get the point across I don't know what will.
