Usher wasn't lip singing. The voices are all original. I was on stage #9. (the left hand side of the V). Their Sat. practice was much better than the real thing. Just think, we had to roll out each stage, put in place, plug everything in for the lights, smoke, microphones and everything else in just under 6 minutes. When it's over you have to tear down everything and move the stages off the field in about 5 minutes.

The Super Bowl did a good job for quite a few years by booking acts like Tom Petty, The Who, U2, Aerosmith and Paul Mc Cartney.. bands that know how to perform on stage, who can play instruments and carry a tune. A step back was taken on this night.
