  • Bonham makes this song

  • i thought led zeppelin was justin bieber's drummer?

  • Listen to that kick drum! Bonzo was a powerhouse, for sure.

  • shouldve been on Presence or ITTOD! oh well great tune!

  • O Funky é mto boss

  • FUNKY BONEQUETI!

  • Funky, LIKE A BOSS

  • FUNKY BLACK CAT!

  • FunkyBlckCat por isso que estou aq =|

  • This is the song in my head when I play hockey.

  • I was told that this song is about withdrawls; and trying to kick Dope. It says, 'And you know, I do Dope, and You know, You know.' it's slid in there.

  • Led Zep playin' punk...

  • Go Bonzo !!!

  • i WILL NOT PLAY WITH THE GLOVES OFF

  • Comparison what ever you hurt me so bad grow BEARD SOME DAY

  • YOU ALL BEST WAKE UP !!!!!!!!!!!

  • i honestly never think of justin beiber until i come onto youtube to watch led zeppelin and then its the first thing i see in the comments.

  • @stealzeppelin LOL... I never hear anything about be-bopper no talent Beiber until I read the comments. His name doesn't belong on the same page as Zepplin. What is a Justin Bieber anyway???...LOL

  • @stealzeppelin every piece of music has either a Justin Beiber or Lady Gaga comment under it. As if Justin Beiber is the cultural equivalent of Led Zeppelin for our time.

  • justin bieber suck ! ! ! ! W LED ZEPPELIN ! ! !

  • i think this song was an answer to punk music which was coming out late in zep's career.

  • @BeyondNeptune Mate... you've no idea how correct your assumptions are!! The "young-crowd" used to belong to zeppelin... Until punk arrived with nothing but raw energy. Suddenly 14 year-old revellers saw them as "boring old farts" Hence Page made a point with wearin and tearin

  • These guys were so talented. Amazing.

  • i love this song,so full of vibrant energy,a real gem

  • Christ, this is a barn burner of a tune! This should've ended up on their "In Through The Out Door" instead of something like "Hot Dog."

If LZ survived into the 1980s, this would've made for a good opening tune!

  • When You Keep Convincin Ah, Dont Keep Convincin Whats That Creeping Up Behind You! Its Just An Old Friend, Its Just An Old Friend, And Whats That He"s Got For You? You know! You know! You know!

  • thought this was Burning and Churning....or crawling throught the wreckage or is the wreckage crawling through me?

love the meditation/ medication bonzo part all mixed up with john paul jones' bass line and the voice of rock and roll , and whatever jimy page is doing tickles the flying dirigibles out of me for goody goody goodness omg

it's my own. true love. my own true love. i said ooooo d.c al coda al coda aching body al coda dc al coda dc al coda ad infinituum ad nauseaum

    LOVE IT!

  • do you realize this is the last song led zeppelin ever recorded together? And theyre as good as they ever were..

  • 3 garotinhas ouvem restart kkkkk

  • Ever listen to a Led Zeppelin song and realize it sounds like a modern song? That's because Led Zeppelin MADE that sound.

  • @arro5393 before i got into Led Zeppelin i thought they were from the 2000's hell was i wrong

  • Led Zeppelin did to rock n roll what Bob Marley did to reggae. They revolutionized rock, they showed pity for a woman's nature and her ignorance of the mans way of life.

  • This is one of those sleeper hits. In my brain tho. it does not sleep. I need love, i need love, i need love!

  • @Gosox2525 obviously people do 14 people do, plus if you don't care about the comment don't read it,

  • i oooo iooo iiiioooooooooooooo

  • This song would have made In Through The Out Door a much better album. It doesn`t do it justice being relegated to the Coda LP.

  • bonham is so clean i cry every time i hear this song rip jon

  • Plant did some nice work after Zep broke up (burning down one side, etc.)-- what did Page do? I can't think of anything, oddly enough

  • @YetHaterLover, my mom said i'm special so get over yourself :D~

  • Zeppelin at their finest, I don't care what anybody says

  • One of my favourites.

  • 2:53 "Just like pooping after school." Even Robert Plant held it 'till he could have his privacy at home.

  • @kelbaaasaa Yeah The Funny Fool Babe I Love The Funny Fool Just Like Foolin After School And then you ask for medication Who cares for medication When you've worn away the cure

  • @kelbaaasaa ITS fooling dumbass

  • @kelbaaasaa It's "Just like the fool after school" but okay that interpretation of the phrase works too I guess....lol :D

  • @kelbaaasaa lol REAL MATURE!! lol your comment made my night

  • Love the sound of the bass guitar!!!

  • Comment removed

  • MEDICATION!!! MEDICATION!!! MEDICATION!!! ;)

  • rumor has it billy idol and generation x were recording next door he and plant met and idol said they couldnt do anything fast...this was Zeps response.

  • I could listen to any Zeppelin song over and over again

  • This band had the perfect chemistry, anything they made is likeable.. to me at least

  • I would took off Houses of the Holy from Physical Graffiti and put this song instead, it fits better.

  • @intherageoflove Not me!!! please leave graffitti alone! thats the best album of all time!!!!! love this tune tho! P.

  • doesn't it make you shake your body?

  • Who says this is their worst song? I love it.

  • I'm a 13 year old GIRL and prefer Led Zeppelin over Justin Bieber .____.

  • @ImagineDreamInspire yeah well, it would be a crime if u wouldn't prefer led zeppelin

  • @ImagineDreamInspire A 21 year old Septic, more like. Bow down to England, the home of the world's best music in scale terms. This from a Scotsman!

  • @ImagineDreamInspire you're still not special :D~

  • @ImagineDreamInspire nobody gives a shit about your age or gender, just listen to the music and enjoy it and shut the fuck up about it.

  • @ImagineDreamInspire yeah !!!!!! it makes me feel so good knowing that some of the younger generation likes real music !!!! rock on girl !!!!!!

  • @ImagineDreamInspire i love you already

  • @ImagineDreamInspire 13, and looking for as many thumbs up to reenforce the belief that my life has some value to it.

It doesn't. You're gonna die, just like the rest of us.

  • @ImagineDreamInspire Stop spoiling a classic, thank you

  • @ImagineDreamInspire ok why do we care

  • @ImagineDreamInspire Your parents did a good job raising you.

  • @ImagineDreamInspire I'm 13 old girl too and I prefer Zeppelin of course. And I really don't care about you.

  • @ImagineDreamInspire

Great ... Keep on rockin !

  • @ImagineDreamInspire So you are very intelligent and sofisticated

  • @ImagineDreamInspire well im a 25 year old MAN and i have love d this stuff since I was 9 years old RAWK ON!!!!!:D :D

  • @ImagineDreamInspire please don't brag about not being stupid

  • @ImagineDreamInspire and who the fuck cares?

  • @kemotox Took the words right from me.

  • @ImagineDreamInspire Well done, keep it up! We need people like you

  • @ImagineDreamInspire YA!!! viva zeppelin!!!!

  • @ImagineDreamInspire Wanna be my girlfriend? xDDD

  • @ImagineDreamInspire Good sty.

  • Fuck yeah!!!!!!!!!

  • Damn Robert, you really messed your voice up.

  • How could a band's "Worst Album" still be so awesome? Oh right, it's Zeppelin.

  • ".... it's just an old friend, and what's that he's got for you....?"

  • I remember I was high school student.

I played drums highschool rock band.

    It was happy time.

  • new music is fine; it's a hell of a lot better than the 90's was for sure. All of the current music scenes (New-new wave, indie rock/folk, garage rock among others) get sparse media attention, and survive just as God intended: by word of mouth (the internet) and touring.

And as for rap and whether it's "complex enough" or not, how many of you enjoy 12 bar blues?

  • @TheOSullivanFactor For me it's not that rap isn't complex enough, it is it's lyrics that really get me. It's always: I got more money and woman than you, or extremely violent or a "sad life story."

  • the hard rock style was different after that band

  • this whole album was Jimmy's farewell to Bonham.... he mixed all the drums right up high. Heavy

  • @beelzabubba ...he sure did...its so obvious...bass down, drums up...thats wot this album is mostly about imo.

  • They did not "make" this album. It was leftovers from previous recording sessions.

    Kicks ass like all.

  • I will never understand why people continually bash music that isn't even the same genre as Zeppelin. Why be so angry at rap when there at countless "rock" bands that are pretty shitty and wannabe. Anyway, maybe if rock most of the mainstream rock didn't suck than the other genres would listened to less. But i digress....thank god for the Black Keys and thank god for Jack White.

  • @GranDrJ I just think personally that rap music is the least talented form of music to hit ever. that includes rock,pop,metal,classical,disco,folk,blues,jazz,bluegrass,soul,r/b and plenty others.

  • Sounds a bit punkish rock, I like it :)

  • @RidirichdFlann It was a response to punk to show that they had nothing on the Zep.

  • @NitroTheRhino I see, well I'm not a huge punk fan, but I do like the Misfits and Led Zeppelin :)

  • ahhh im cumming

  • I'm as big a Zeppelin fan as anyone, but for some reason I always passed Coda off as "studio music," post Bonham. How stupid was that? This might have been the best album Zeppelin made. Live and learn, I guess.

  • All 3 thumbs up!

  • Coda is so underrated!

  • plants voice sounds a little spent and rough and this doesnt have the good musical art as some of zeppelins older stuff, but it's still good

  • @zachmcquaid In my opinion is this "spent" "rough" voice that gives this tune it's beauty. It seems so desperate and angry. Check the Page & Plant version with Michael Lee on drums. I think it's even better than this one, but maybe it's because it was the one i heard first.

  • Reminds me of Elephants by Them Crooked Vultures.

  • this song rocks so hard

  • Thumbs up if you like foolin' after school.

  • @666gravity Oh that's cool :)

  • the most heavy song of the 70's (1978)

  • @gainsbarre87 actually Coda came out in 1982...

  • Comment removed

  • @caramelhiggens dude... Jimi Hendrix released a new(er) album just a year or some ago. this was just their original songs, that didn't get put onto one of their albums back then

  • @caramelhiggens this is Bonzo, fore sure. this album was extra tracks that never made it to any of the other cd's. so it is definately him bc they never made new music once he died.

  • @JimmyPageZepFan i believe its a record not a cd

  • @caramelhiggens Get it straight , this was Bonham you idiot !!!

  • @caramelhiggens think that MAYBE only MAYBE they could have recorded the album before, and released it after... wizards of the recording industry, arent they!

  • How in the hell is this not good enough to make In Through the Out Door?

  • @caramelhiggens check your facts man, because he actually played this song

  • Fucking Awsome!!!!!!!!

  • THE BEST BAND OF ALL TIME AND THE BEST DRUMMER OF ALL TIME !

  • HEAVY! & FAST!

; plus, actually rather catchy also.

  • kinda like a mix of train kept a rolling and some new stuff, like it alot

  • and you ask for medication ....who cares for medication....when youve thrown away the cure....

who could ask for better lyrics...?

  • I saw Robert Plant perform this song at Alpine Valley, WI in July 1990....holy shit fire F*CK....actually smoked this version.....

  • both of those dislikes are from phil collins. get over yourself buddy

  • could have been a SIDE #3 track easily on "in through the out door"

  • @TheWontonsoop Would have been better than "Hot Dog!" any day.

  • The only song I hate from Led Zep, is Gallows Pole, man that song gets on my nerves.

  • @LORDGOAT1976 Lol, why?i think is one of the best from LZIII

  • @LORDGOAT1976 WHAT!!?????? i beg to differ! sorry i love gallows

  • @LORDGOAT1976 booo thats my favorite zep song

  • Dear sweet lord, this song is wonderful. Led Zeppelin is a kick-ass band, man. Long live rock!

  • wow i thought that in through the outdoor was theyre last album.

  • @MrSchmuchface It kinda was. Coda is all studio out-takes spanning Led Zeppelin's entire career. Pretty amazing considering even their so-called "throwaway's" kick ass.

  • @bbeboutuaa I agree with the "even their so-called 'throwaways' kick ass.

Led Zeppelin- The Greatest Rock and Roll Band EVER!!!

  • My favorite Led Zep song!!! followed by When the Levee Breaks and Babe I'm Gonna Leave You

  • probably my favourite song these days.

  • Led Zeppelin's worst song > anyone else's best song!

  • @CMD9889 there is no such thing as worst song, its subjective

  • @andrewvanrhoberts I'm not saying this is their worst song, I love this song, I just had to put that out there.

  • @CMD9889

But every Led Zep song is a good song! :)

  • @JonhBonzham Hell ya!

  • Godamn Led zeppelin really shows they did everything!

Why should stick to 1 theme if you can do metal blues funk Rock classic rock hard rock punk jazz at the same time?

  • fucking awsome.......nuff said!

  • bonzo is in a class by himself as a hard rock drummer.

if he would have lived, maybe we would have been spared 80s big hair metal. gawd, did that suck.

  • That's one smokin' tempo. Fastest Zep song I know of.

  • @probrojeffro idk communication breakdown is pretty damn fast lol

  • TOP TUNE

  • Hey! This song is dirty!

  • i am quite sure i have contributed to 4,000 of these views xD

  • Listen how, at the end, everyone in the group goes crazy, but Bonzo brings them all up to a great sudden finish.. LOVE IT

  • Led Zeppelin's cast away songs are better than today's rock groups top hits.

  • dude sweet! what year was this album released? post bonzo?

  • @enderflea it was released in Nov. 1982, two years after Bonzo died.

  • Bonzo has given a single one of his many epic beats to every drummer in the world

  • wow

  • i want to believe that classic rock will rise again one day!!

  • @TRELOKAMPERI You're not alone :)

  • Normally I would say "I'm sorry that Bonzo died". Now I realize

He's inmortal!! Best drumming in history!

  • I agree you can't top bonzo-shame he died so young, was a sad day then.I remember walkin in from school and hearin he died,I cried my eyes out.Like the other person said-great footwork.Only good drummers we have left from that era are Ian Paice and Ginger Baker.Maybe Artimus Pyle but hes a pile of dog shit in my book, damn child molester.

  • sorry to say it but the best music has already been made. today all we hear is pap.

    LED ZEP are TIMELESS!!

  • @kidzsanlorenzo

i totaly agree with that! almost all 60's 70's and 80's hits are better than todays "computer made music"

  • @wpepie it shouldnt even be considerd music if the thing making it isnt man

  • @wpepie I wish I could just drop a neutron bomb on computer generated "medication" muzak of today... just, very strong feelings

  • @wpepie just like everyone in the 50's who thought rock and roll was the devil.

    time to open up.

  • @wpepie These guys were my favorite band for eight years, but there is lots of good music now. Check out 'Weekend Wars' by MGMT.

  • @wpepie oh, god i know! why can't anyone actually play instruments any more?

  • @wpepie i call it beats and bops

  • @kidzsanlorenzo I agree, Classic rock is the only music worth istening to.

  • @vfgjhj To be fair, Blues and Jazz are wonderful to listen to if your maturity allows it. But yeah...pretty much nothing after 1980.

  • @Kynatics I like Chuck Berry, some 60's rock was good, 70's is where Rock and Roll shined the most. The 80's brought us some good stuff, the 90's was a bit depressing to listen to, and you could see music begin to take it' downfall. Some of the old bands still bust out old school rock and roll like albums in the face of this new wave shit. (KISS, AC/DC, Clapton, The Eagles, Motley Crue all have).
