Agreed, I loved (and still do love) Green Wing, but it's better that they finish on a high while it's still brilliant than drag it out for another series if it wouldn't live up to the first two.

I have to agree. As much as I'd love to have seen a third series it had a perfect ending and was 10/10 from start to finish. All the great comedies (ever) knew when to stop, and this is a perfect example.
