  • Its a good way to start fire if u follow this guy. Elektricity should ALWAYS be running true NON flamable / sleeved stuff. It litterly costs 1-2€ for some decent sleeving If u short circuits these for some reason and a flame starts. Bam u got yourself a microwave grow box. Plz kid ... i always come across your video's thinking there usefull...But how about some safety

  • thats cool BUT cant you just get a power strip and get lights that plug in?

  • Hello- What Type of bulbs you using? they look like standard household bulbs.Whats the wattage? Then-where do I get mylar? Thanks!

  • you should test it out before you put it all together...

  • what kind of bulbs are those?

  • you could of put a switch on the lights to flip on n off

  • if am just plannin on growing only a few plants can i just have 1 light and do i still have to have 2 fans as well

  • Thanks Dude!!!!!!!!!!!

  • were did u buy your milar from sorry if i spelled it wrong not in my every day vocab

  • dos it matter how u hook the cords like postive and negitvie sides?????

  • @gnikishin

If you have to ask, I strongly suggest you get a friend to help you do this part.

  • im sure you have done the wiring steps for many boxes but for more inexperienced people you should recommend that they test their wiring with a power source before they proceed to build the fixture around the sockets and install it.

  • Great series man, really appreciate it. Would you mind mentioning the wattage of the lights? (sorry if its in another video)

  • what kind of fans are those?

  • Could you recommend just using a power strip?

  • I think you need a smaller "T" as well. lol

  • what kind of bulbs do you use?

  • What are the wattages of each bulb your using?

  • when you wire something like that you end up with to much of a focus point. it will work, but it will last longer if you wire your inlet appropriately. so "NEG" "POS" "NEG" "POS" "NEG" "POS"

it starts with negative BUT to the left of the first neg is the pos not connected to anything. adjoin your pos inlet to the pos light wire. the same follows adjacent to the far -> pos connect the neg inlet to the neg light wire. this is a continual circuit rather branching. uses less power giving less heat

  • Only problem i see is with the way its wire if you want to add a timer for the light anything that is plugged into the sockets is going to be on the timer as well :(

  • this is awesome, but aren't you afraid that using foam-board is a fire hazard?

  • no wonder why these things are so expensive there a bitch to make your really paying for the labor

  • i live in uk and i dont know where i can get the light fixtures, any ideas?

    thanks.

  • @iSUKKER

I get light fixtures at home depot which is a home improvment store here in the states. Im not really sure what kind of stores you have there. Sorry I couldn't help more.

  • @rjcw2 we have hydro stores that sell everything needed for marijuana 8) and then head shops which sell you the seeds easy to grow over here in the uk 8)

  • @iSUKKER Homebase, B&Q or Wickes. Many independent hardware stores should also stock them :)

  • @relaxedwhite1 okk thanks helps much ;D

  • @iSUKKER give Maplins or B&Q a go!

  • @iSUKKER Hi. You can try in some hardware store, or in Tesco, or in Liroy Merline, ob Obi or something like that.

  • @OnlyTrueAnfoman ok thanks :)

  • @iSUKKER try wickes mate or wilkinsons etc

  • @iSUKKER Try B&G

  • Is that tape safe? Would have thought it would conduct electricity if you have a short or bare cable, would duct tape be more suited?

  • cardboard? are u serious.. that sounds like a smoky the bear incident.

  • Is the styrofoam safe to be holding those sockets? what kinda heat can that handle?

  • Yes they are safe. I have tested these system for many many days with no heat issues.

  • Good stuff, was thinking of converting a night table to one.

  • Thats Sweet. Also where do you get those fluorescent light holders, that you can hold like 4 on?

  • its in another vid on this series

  • hey man.. what kind of cfls are those?

  • Can I Make one from a Cardboard box for cheaper?

  • Yah I don't see why you couldnt use cardboard box to build these. That i a good Idea

  • Here's a suggestion. The light fixtures your using you can actually get from the big light up outdoors x-mas ornaments. This way you don't have to do all of the wire work. It's what I used for my first grow box.

  • yo bro thast a great idea ill look around for some. Not sure if they will even be on sale any more now that xmas has passed.

  • I would suggest using 1/4 inch ply wood for the lights. Its a little more fire resistant. Nice job though.
