That did it, I can't stand it anymore, next winter I'll forget my two week ski trip and fly over to Sweden to hook up with you dear souls and do this till the cows come home..........
Suggestions as to where one goes to get these specialty boot/skates - equipment that do not exist in the USA...........?
Boot and skates are common in Sweden, almost all sport shops have them. Where to go and when to do it is a harder question that need answering. Problem is you never know when and where there will be ice. Some winters the snow come before the ice, then there's no problem. Other winters we get a thin layer of ice and then lot's of snow = no skating. And then there's always the odd winter like the one in the video, no snow - just lot's and lot's of ice everywhere. :(

I think I have seen ads from store in Minn and Wisc selling them too.
