I grew up in Sweden watching DJ Kat with our satellite disc. According to my teacher I had one of the best pronounciations in our English class, much thanks to DJ Kat. :)

This continuity is from February 1993 where I remember adverts such as the Rice Krispies promotional and Tango ones. Shrove Tuesday fell on 23rd February. It was also the day I celebrated my 12th birthday at the time.

im assuming this is a british version of the dj kat show? there was an american version with the same puppet and he wore a leather jacket and hung out with a chick named elizabeth. he lived in a basement similar to the set from the super mario brothers supershow

I hated the Tango ads!

The first ad was of a man being slapped and the voice over saying 'you've been tangoed', everyone used to go around slapping each other at school!

The second ad was of the tango man shouting as loud as he could down someone's ear 'you've been tangoed', as you can probably guess... my ears are still ringing from primary school, lol.

They don't make adverts like they used too!!!
