  • GRANDE BUENA IDEA :d

  • Best halloween costume prop ever!

  • Now add some red plastic and you've got a great costume!

  • i think we just found ezio's newest gadget from leonardo da vinci

  • thare should be a lock so it can stand on its own...and stuf...

  • Good halloween costume!!

  • I can't believe it.... did you do the rope work? man that take nerves of steel and about a bazillion tons of enthusiasm.... impressive.... I'm completely shocked!

  • plans?

  • do they work?

  • This stuff could break real easily

  • this project, did you called it Icarus by any chance? :D

  • can someone tell me how to get started on these types of woodwork?

    how does one learn?

  • @kuha5ster : I just started whittling. Get yourself a good knife (not an expensive one, a good one, I use a Frosts Knife (the woodcarving one without a beveled edge) and a Sloyd). Learn to sharpen it properly, and start hacking away at bits of wood. Learn the grain structure, try different species and see what works for you.

  • then jump on the roof or something?

  • This is one of the best. Very creative and inexpensive.

  • BEAST!

  • lol except our bones arent hollow... poor da vinci lol... and they are too small

  • that took amazing talent and time...

hope you're a mechanical engineer... you have the brains for it, it seems, and would be a shame to not see someone take you into the fold of engineering

  • super cool for cosplay!

  • Ok, now what?

  • how the heck did you make that!!

  • fricking awesome

  • DaVinci would be proud...

  • yes. yes he would

  • wow.. very natural looking. well done.

  • are you a new ICARO? great job, congratulation and dont stay near of the sun. lol

  • nice, whats it for ?

  • This would make a cool Glider.

  • WHYYY

  • Very nicely done sir. I bet it was maddening getting all the lashed bits precise and stable enough to keep the action as smooth as it is.

  • how are the "feathers" able to line up? I can only see one connection joining "feather" to "bone", from the picture.

  • why ?

  • add feathers and try to fly :P

  • fine craftsmanshop

  • Those are amazing!! Hey, why don't you add a spring mechanism on version 2.0, so that you can just trigger them open? You could even put the trigger on your chest, maybe activate it with bike break wire!

  • I'm not sure if the wire would match the wood and string.
