I don't know what it is about the eye Magnifier in the solid red tube, I had it and hated it which was a big disappointment because I had bought it before and LOVED it! BUT it was the rimmel eye magnifier in the BLACK tube with red cap. Not sure what the difference is but they had very different results. My lashes looked long voluminous and lifted and let me tell you I have THEE shortest skimpiest lashes ever! So the magnifier formulas are not all the same.

I am not impressed with the Rimmel Eye Magnifier either. Bought it months ago and it looked dried up the first time I ever used it. It was horrifically clumpy. After watching your review, I was inspired to give it another try (don't know why I didn't throw it out the first time) and was disappointed again. Length improved, but my lashes went from curled to straighter than they were before I curled them in seconds.. needless to say, it went in the trash this time :P

ooh,using l'oreal telescopic as a comparison to any other brand of mascara pretty much means a serious beating for the other brand,lol!(including high brand mascaras....l'oreal is the same company as lancome hence the fact that their mascaras are so amazing)

The Loreal looks blacker. The Rimmel doesn't coat the tip of your lashes so they look short, probably because of the dryness.

You'd be surprised how many companies that are on PETAs ''safe'' list have fabricated their claim that they're against animal testing, when in reality they're still engaging in it.

I have used a few Rimmel mascaras and I haven't been that thrilled with them with the exception of Rimmel's Glam'eyes lash flirt. I've used this one for a long time but rescently it's not been working for me. So I started layering it with Physicians formula eyebrightener on first then the Lash Flirt after and it works a lot better.
