@PoliticallyCensored wtf? chinooks are one of the best designed military aircraft designed. They can carry up to their own weight in cargo and 54 passengers. They can fly on one engine and if they do both cut out, which is less likely then a commercial airliner, the rotors are shaped so that they can pretty much 'glide' down to the ground (obviously a bit of a roungh landing though).
@I4MJ05H Well all of that sounds nice on paper, but the one I rode around in the Marines were scary. Break downs, fuel leaks, etc and it didn't matter what service provided them for us. But, the are far safer than the Osprey.
awesome heli, the chinook they make now are co-axials and yes they are stable but this one is sooo cool...
