It's really interesting to see the dynamic between younger and older brother in this episode... in some ways it touches close to home. I'm glad they have simply managed to maintain the connection that is so important for family, even though their genealogistic journey was seemingly fruitless. Thanks again to the greatest of all kumquats for posting the episode.
Thank you, very well documented. I had to make some flank and skirt steak and chorizos (it's cooking right now) Not the same meat... but some day I'll be back home...
I really thank you for uploading this, I'm uruguayan and this episode really showed every little piece of our country, so THANKS! Love Anthony Bourdain! And if any of you are planning in coming to Uruguay don't hesitate in call me! I would be more than pleased to help you around here, in our little piece of heaven... Greetings from Uruguay! Camille out :)
I lived in Uruguay for a few years. This was wonderful and made me really want to go back. The main thing that is missing from this video: Mate. You cannot describe Uruguayan culture without describing Mate. It practically is the culture in itself.
Beautiful Uruguay I wanna go there and eat

@VetteMaro86 If it starts swearing and drinking copious amounts of booze, we'll know for sure.
