  • BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • Those speakers look like those annoying robots( The direlects) on Dr. Who

  • Voilà une bonne raison d'être riche.

Personne pour aider un nécessiteux qui aime tellement la musique ?

    Sivouplé

  • A while back on the Asylum I had a discussion with the owner of Grant Fidelity and Yaqin, these would without doubt mate well your your B&W.

They both are made for APPEARANCES.

They both are built like CRAP.

And, they both sound like TRASH!

I'm sorry if I fail to agree with your fantasy of B&W being a pure audio bastion of perfection! I have the experience and the brains to go with it, that which allows me to make these decisions and bring this info to you, the masses. When I'm right, I'm right

  • @JoeRosenSmokin300B You sound like a typical youtube troll pretending to be something that he isn't. Anyone who says that B&W speakers are build like crap (when in fact they're incredibly well made) , and sound like trash (which again, they dont, and speakers that cost couple of thousands of dollars cant sound like crap)... is a troll. Or a REAL audiophile.

  • @JoeRosenSmokin300B Real audiophiles are really similar to trolls...they will pick on some TINY "flaw" (which wouldnt otherwise be noticed by 99,99% of people) , and say that some equipement is TRASH. Real audiophiles live in a fairy tale world and overexaggerate things a lot.

  • The DQ-10 & Dairy Queen 20s as we call them were a poor attempt at best to mimic some character of the QUAD ESL-57s but obviously failed to replicate ANY of the unmatched qualities of QUAD's genius designs. I still read reminiscent posts from others about how "great" the Dalquists supposedly sound in their (gob help me) systems. Conrad Johnson hasn't made a decent sounding amplifier since the days of yore! Have ever fracking listened to that overpriced shite? You must be deaf as they are.

  • He says he loves them very mucho because they look like penguins.

  • @akikoyyy Bowers & Wilkins' corporate motive and obsession with placing appearances over what really matter bares a great similarity with those of our communist chinese friend's products these days. That old saying holds true! " If you build it, they will come". Considering better speakers like those from B&O and Quad, I don't see why anyone would even consider buyign this junk. But of course; appearances, appearances! It's easy to tell who the real audiophiles are here.

  • Cerwin Vegas are you serious? they don't even compare to B&W speakers! I will put my Klipsch rf-7's Up against Cerwin Vegas any day! How ridiculous you comments are!

  • Well I see the audiofools have made their way to YOUTUBE to flog their McIntrash again! Its not that is isn't well built (its quite decent though HORRENDOUSLY overpriced), its just that is sounds like GARBAGE. The absolute SNOB APPEAL surrounding the McIntrash gives off an odor that gets poor beggers like myself. my advice, throw this chinese JUNK in the garbage and get yourself a beautiful Dynaco ST70 and a pair of Cerwin Vega. SHOCKING low level detail- you'll be in audio heaven!

  • I used to own some McInchink but there wasn't enough "tone" for my listening tastes. I prefer tubes as they are more accurate to the source-THE MUSIC. For me its the voluptuous midrange of the ESL-63s and large Cerwin Vegas. Some folks don't have the ear for it- its sad but they're just SOL! Sitting listening to their pricey Wilson Audio Watt/Puppys and 801Ds, oh LORD please end the torture NOW...it become unbearable! Those metal tweeters can be so harsh and that bass of so boomy!

  • @JoeRosenSmokin300B I would consider audiophile snobs as anyone who puts down other peoples gear to hype there own. If someone has the money, let em buy it. if they like the combo, it,s thier ears. Some of these systems are just playing what is being fed. Bad or poor recorded disks not hidded in creamy over lap. Regardless if, a person likes old Janzen Electrostatics w/Cary Audio tubes, DQ 10's w/Conrads, old Tannoys or K horns W1 Jadis or the latest Wilsons w/ Krells, They all have thier place.

  • @nimlil Well your clearly the unequivocal NIMROD that your name suggests! I had figured such. Janzen "electrostatic" ie ribbons not electrostatic were as pretentious as Martin Logan's most recent ABOMINATIONS! That's the problem today, everyone has a CHOICE and they feel their opinion is a reality. I've "done my time" with Cary's top 200W amp and with a quite turn of the screwdriver and removal of the fancy lid, it was complete JUNK inside. Wilson and Krell mate well as they are BOTH TRASH.

  • @JoeRosenSmokin300B Ahhh we all have our likes and dislikes, You seem to like correcting people for the sake of correcting people. Carrying on a coversation with someone who likes to put down the interests of others shows me that I do not want to be grouped into the audio snob catagory. You do have a great knowledge of audio products but mis the enthusiasts love. I like conversations with someone trying to tweek thier Advents or hearing things that I missed. I bow out of this conversation.

  • @nimlil don't believe any of the stuff from Joe Rosen, hes a well known compulsive liar and low-fi snob on the tubes forums on the AA. hes never heard any of the gear he writes about

  • @ifloridas370x Well I kind of figured by the fact that he tried to correct me by saying that a particular speaker was actually a ribbon ( a thin ribbon magnetic field design) rather than one that uses a high voltage electrical field designed by someone who has a patent and is known for Electrostatics. Just by the fundamental design of the product had he actually known he wouldnt of boasted that correction. That is why it was called a Janszen Electrostatic. But I didnt want to hurt his feelings.

  • B&W forever!!!!!!
