The first three worlds are amazingly easy, due to the fact I have played Banana Blitz Before (Anybody who claims to hate Banana Blitz is crazy, the music and gameplay is amazing~). I was beginning to think "Wow what a waste of $50.00" But when I got to those last 3 levels I was like O__o. Those levels are extremely difficult, I had to switch to my Wiimote, and even then, it was hard. Doing those last levels with a balance board is ultimately impossible, I'd say.
I don't think people are realizing the controls of this game. It's designed to be played using the Wii Balance Board, which is much harder than you think on race tracks. The new Wii Fit Plus bubble game is just as hard. Yeah, you may be able to beat the boards easier with the Wiimote, but that's not how the game was designed. Granted it's much different than SMB2, but maybe I won't throw my wii fit through a TV out of frustration. there are 70 boards, plus mirror modes.
Yeah, it seems like too many people are TOO quick to throw their arms up in the air these days. You'd think that with the subtitle Step and Roll, it would be obvious how the game is designed and supposed to be played.
The fact that there are so many obstacles in the stages so far indicates to me that this is meant to be played with the Balance Board. I wonder if there's a way to turn them off without having to play co-op to destroy them....
control looks terrible, it was painful watching you try getting through the 3rd level in this video. thanks for the gameplay regardless, i don't think anything can save the series since the first SMB on the wii, that crushed my love for this series and shit it out on my face, it was a terrible experience playing that one after all the lovable episodes with SMB2 :(
Nice gameplay, and I have a question. Is this game also playable without using a wii balance board? I don't own one, and I was just wondering. Thanks for any reply!
what is the challenege in this?

My favorite Super Monkey Ball games are the ones with levels that are grouped together in difficulties.

@Phillipf8 Actually you're thinking of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz.
hutch78240 1 year ago
@WishingTikal 7 because of Sillicona. To get it, you will have to beat all of the levels in the game.

@WishingTikal There is a hidden world.

I finished half of the game in one hour so I would say rent, though the last three worlds get hard

I did. Have you tried that one? It's terrible.

@WishingTikal I liked banana blitz and didn't have any troubles with the controls like some people claim.

I loved Banana Blitz. I bought it when it went down in price. But the new one just isn't as fun.

Playable with the Wii Remote, yes. The game is clearly meant to be played with the Balance Board though.
