I remember when I was 9 one of my friends came over to my house to play Dreamcast, then when I left the room to go get lunch he used E-102 Gamma and went to the Mystic Ruins Garden and shot all my chaos killing them for the lulz (and saved). I immediately told him to go home after that.. -_-

everytime i'm in the chao garden in DX, it works only once. Once I come back, the memory card says "Data got erased. CONTINUE?" and i'm just like 'how the hell did they DIE??? I leave them there by themselves and they corrupt the memory card. It work on Sonic adventure 2 battle however.
