Well I didn't get it work but looks it funny.

keep trying took me awhile.

i do it fast now xD so i can do it off little drops.

try the top of the tower at landing. for starters cuz theres a big dropp there to get it right.

the issue is not the gap of the drop its probly to open cmdr screen right after u open parachute.
