Dave..Ian McNabb was frontman for Icicle Works in the early 80s and side one of this album was recorded with his heroes Crazy Horse, Neil Youngs band....It Rocks big time !!

Spot on! Well said & great track! YouTube is full of videos that infringe copyright they even feature these videos on the homepage. Stevie creates his OWN work and puts a lot of goodwill and good vibes out there they should be PROMOTING and FEATURING this guy not supsending him!!! They shot themselves in the foot with this unjust and ridiculous action. Its insane that his entire channel was suspended. Its made an awful lot of us question what YouTube is about.

I agree, Stevie was and is great! I thought it was totally legal to cover someone's tune, especially if no money is changing hands. what's next? are they going to go into a club and shut down cover bands?

A lot of Stevie's work is available on video from his website. whether that has anything to do with this issue, i don't know...It's all about royalties I guess??

I know the feeling Tim, I had 350 vids wiped out and nearly 2 years of work, got lots, I can empathise with the guy especially composing his own music!

YT have some unreasonable policies that's for sure, I sometimes wonder if it's about the music or about the money, if we all adhered strictly to the rules then there would only be a limited selection and handful of stuff worth watching..
