You've got this ridiculous oscar wilde thing shoved in with loads of 70s partying, and then theres this journalist who used to fancy him. the whole oscar wilde notion was ridiculous, and yes i understand his connection, but it was badly injected into the story.

well basically theres this reporter guy who's told to find out what happened to brian Slade (Jonathan Rhys Meyers)after he disappeared of the music scene. there was this other guy called curt wild (Ewan McGregor's)who was around at the same time.him and Brian had a little affair thing goin on and they were all on drugs and having sex with everyone.the reporter guy was a kid at the time of Brian and curt and he was gay with curt wild. he has to work out what actually happened and where Brian is.
