Well, whatever. I think it is either an overlay or a mingling of two sets of footage. I want to believe that it's true! And I do think the Jackass guys have integrity. It just really looks like the ball should land short. Maybe there was wind or something, I don't know. Sorry to rain on everyone's parade, but personally I believe it's fake.

@ChristophDX No, it isn't fake. First of all, the position of the camera is not directly to the side of the ball, it's underneath and partially in front of the descent, so it wouldn't look like it was falling at 45 degrees even if it was. Secondly, even if you did take the perspective into account, I would bet money you didn't measure it to see if it was 45 degrees.

So, unless you have proof it's fake (which you don't), go throw yourself off a ferris wheel (doesn't have to be at 45 degrees).
