I know some dancers are advanced for their age, as this girls seems to be. However, I always thought a girl shouldn't go on pointe until she had grown a little more and her bones had a chance to fuse or mature? But I guess if you are good, you are good.

yeah! it really depends on how strong you are... i have a friend who's been on pointe since she was nine and she was really strong. and i just went on pointe a few weeks ago and after two lessons i was able to do center! but it really depends on how strong you are! also, i had a teacher who still teaches pointe but her feet are deformed... her bones kinda sticks out to the inside of her foot!
