@HerosWing forward back forward + A = Charge block, back forward + A = Block, Down Back + A = Catch the the wave (Keep pressing Down Back + A othewise it will explode)

Regardless, this game still holds a special place in my heart and I still feel it was one of the most unique battle systems ever created. It required practice to become skillful at this game, and I guess that's something the new generation just doesn't want to get on board with.

Then again, you look at the new Streetfighter which is almost identical to its predecessors, except for the fact that they added newer character sprites & better graphics. Why couldn't DBZ games do something similar??!

A 2D game with SF-like commands wouldnt appeal more than a [budokai tenkaichi-style] which is more exciting and faithful to the db universe in all aspects. You forgot this new generation has got dumber than us, so they can only deal with the button mashing or ridiculous commands (compare: foward+circle vs quarter-back, foward+circle for the ki blasts).

Gohan has two secret moves that most people don't know about cuz they are not on the move list when you press start and then select, i found out all the secrets of this game including turbo and tiny character mode by myself by playing it so much and that was back in the day when we didn't have internet, I love this game

its kinda sad Budokai games lost such traditional command.

they should do a new version, retelling all the series story, with all the characters and stages from SB1, 2 and 3 plus some new. These new games always cover the entire series anyway

le butoden 2 est cool avec broly et bojack mais la barre d'NRJ se remplit trop lentement, je préfère le butoden 3 o niveau esthétique. Di moi, comnt tu fé pour contrer lesboules de feu et comnt tu les contre avec une otreboule de feu com le kamehameha??

niveau esthétique butoden 3 est mieux mais niveau musique c'est le deux qui l'emporte. et il y a plus de bugs dans le 3 selon moi.

la barre se rempli trop vite dans le 3 donc il est facile de résumer un combat à une succession de super attaques ce qui est dommage.

pour contrer les attaques en renvoyant un kamehameha il suffit de faire la manip' d'un super kamehameha.
