I am looking the way to replace calcium instead of milk, is there any fruit or veggie that will replace it? and also how can I get protein also than meat?..Thank you for your video that is what I was looking for...and I hope to see more...
@Yeshuaismyshepher You can get all the calcium you need from eating a good amount of vegetables, if you are making shakes and putting mixed greens in them then you are going to be fine with your calcium levels. Also if you are drinking dairy from factory cows it's going to be acidic and actually leech calcium out of your bones so it's going to be counter productive to drink milk for the calcium.
Dr Dan, have you heard of JUVO raw meal powder? Basically it's a raw veggie blend. I've been taking that with my fruit shakes, and it keeps me full too, but I wonder if I should rely on the powders to get all my nutrition. I am doing it for weight loss too, any tips for people who want to loose weight with the shakes?
is there any veggie something shake good for muscles after training? (without putting protein powder). I'm looking for maintaining weight, but in a healthy way if possible. please help. thanks.
@domagoj89 After a workout you can recover with a shake like this. I wouldn't add too much fruit though because of the fructose content. I'd do a shake like this or one with mixed greens and then also a good source of animal protein after a workout, along with a healthy fat like coconut milk, avocado, olive oil, coconut oil, raw butter.
@gogo4466 Sorry for the delayed response! There are a lot of recipes online for veggie shakes but I'd typically stick to mixed greens, kale, swiss chard and then berries. If you add too much fruit you are going to lose the benefit of making the shake.
I drink protein shakes sporadically, I always try to get a real source of protein whenever I can, if I am in a hurry then I will do a protein shake with a few big spoonfuls of coconut milk and a little water.
Thanks for sharing dude, I wanted to do something like for a while but just did not know what food items would make a good shake. This actually looks good. So thanks again for sharing....
organic is not as good as it's made out to be . recent study's show that if the farmer who grew the organic fruit/ veggie's used compost from a non organic farm the compost will have hormones antibiotics and other chemicals in it , so try to figure out where te farmer got the compost / stuff used to make the compost .
very simple

hey could u do a mango - spinach shake

@22blueshoe You can do mango in the shake if you want. You need to be careful with getting too much fruit in there because of the high sugar content.
I actually have a lot of clients who have tried it and really liked mango.

Hi Dan,
Thanks for this shake "recipe". I'm definitely going to try this one out.
If you have some other shakes like these to share, please do.
Also, are you drinking any protein shakes ?
P.S. You are quite a hottie! ;)
