  • This species of shark is not critically endangered or even endangered. If you really want to protect sharks, I'd focus on the commercial market for shark finning via the longline and the insatiable penchance of Asians for shark fin soup.

  • @MrBigden37 Please see the website for the bigger picture where all will be explained. Thanks for the comment.... coolbluefilms.

  • @Arcticclaws sadly sheeps, pigs and cows are bred to procude our meats on the stalls... sharks aren't some dick who decided they have magical properties has started a shark market not relaising they dont bredd as fast as other species so their numbers are decreasing rapidly.

  • remember black december guys, imagine your wife and kid in the water, chunks eaten out of them and you watching, useless, petrified on the shore. imagine one day you find a way to have your own back? Imagine it was personal! Its a long shot but what if? Im cosy where i am, never encountered a shark and probably never will, but what about the zambezi peoples, can we speak for them? I wouldn't. i'm sorry for the shark and sorry for all the lost souls of shark attacks and their families

  • how are some peole so ignorant. evil souls to take life for no reason. thats all they are, dont give me this crap about hunting for a living, thats worse then hunting for food, and for sport, i'd love to find a poacher in the middle of nowhere if you know what i mean, he can join his fallen victims.

  • Dudes, it's a fish. Totally get over it. We do have the right to kill them and eat them, or make something out of them or do whatever with them.

  • @TheChaseair Your a fucking idiot, yeah you can do that but what happens when your ass is dead because humans fucked over the food cycle... fucking dumbass nigger

  • @fastj27 You are quite a testimony to the Devil who owns you. You are not even aware of how you are his servant to do his will....poor, pitiful creature....and you would take care of the world?

  • OUR SYSTEM DOESN'T WORK.

  • Who killed Quasimodo and WHY?!

  • We suspect that it was a "Sports Trophy" kind of scenario..... Sad enough in itself. So far as I know despite becoming a national news story no one has ever been brought to task over the killing.

  • This is a sad story. That shark obviously had no problem with humans if it had been casually sited by divers for over a decade. Its tragic to think that a creature which struggled to survive for almost 70 years could be killed by one cowardly jerk. If you feel like killing sharks then do us all a favor and go try doing it by hand. :) The oceans are the homes of the sea creatures and humans naturally have no place there. I hope the guy who did this gets killed by a shark. A LIFE FOR A LIFE!!!

  • Idiot!

  • This was a beatiful Bull Shark!!!! Things like this really make me mad...

  • people really need to understand the importance of sharks, they are not ruthless killers, they are predators and we very rarely get hurt by them going into their world. humans 100 000 000 sharks killed yearly - sharks 4 humans yearly.

and sharks are the only thing we know of that never get cancers, dont you think thats worth looking into more because 1 in every 3 of us reading this will get cancer in their lifetime and then you might be wishing we hadnt slaughtered all those sharks.

  • why kill the animal when it has done nothing to you?...it makes no sense... God put them here for a reason, and people have no right to MURDER God's creatures

  • Yes we do, read Genesis. Start with the part where God kills animals to use their skins to cover man. I would assume you are the same type of person who believes abortion is OK.

  • if we don bother their ecosystem it wouldnt be a problem 4 both side. fish r part of their food chain n we human always destroying their home n fishin in d wrong way of fishin. use explosion n destroying their ecosystem. btw, cow or other in d farm we always able 2 manage their number but shark, how can farm shark, so if we don protect them we'll face a lot of problem: extinction, breaking the ocean ecosystem n much more in next generation our young kids wouldnt be able 2 know d life of Shark.

  • because we can count sheeps, pigs, and cows because they are "land based" animals..we cant count how many sharks there are in the world...im not a biologiest or animal rights activist but even i know that 'articclaws'...ill bet you support or follow PETA??...MEAT IS GOOD!! :)

  • Good point. Its a case of sustainable balance as 100 million sharks are destroyed each year without any justifiable reason or replenishment. Unlike the other animals that you mention, several species of sharks could become extinct within our lifetime. The main concern being that they form a vital part of the natural marine eco system.

I hope this gives some kind of insight to the predicament....However I do agree that the issue of animal slaughter does provide a very wide debate in itself.

  • Lil mayo piece of cheese and two slices of bread hmmmmmm shark salad sandwich

  • lol why sad ?

  • Who need them humans in the world? They're just evil and kill people. ;-)

  • you should see a shrink...

  • Soo...what do you consider to be productive?

  • who needs ignorant morons like yourself who's mindset can't seem to evolove? Sharks unlike humans actually contribute something to this planet.

  • Yeah you idiot, ever heard of a food chain? or did you drop out in kindergarden?

  • RIP beautiful shark

  • What the FUCK is wrong with you? Huh? Asshole? THOUSANDS of sharks are killed each year. People killed each year by sharks? average of 3. IN THE WORLD. Fuck you, you have a greater chance of dieing by tripping on a domesticated chicken than being killed by a shark. Undereducated idiots like you are the ones fucking up the enviroment!

  • i went fishing and caught 1 shark and kept it is that bad? not that kind

  • The most savage of all predators man. We may take sharks to the brink of extinction, but in the end sharks were here before us and most likely be here long after us.

  • Rest in peace, beautiful shark.

  • when are you going to put more amazing videos on ?

  • Working on an edit at the moment and filming again in the summer. A great location...watch this space! Thanks for your comment, coolbluefilms.

  • What a sad loss of a beautiful animal.

  • um ok

  • cool video

  • This IS something truly amazing! I've seen footage of sharks before but how many times in a lifetime might you be able to watch a REAL news story open up in front of you, actually live. I feel honoured indeed. Hope they catch the guy(s) responsible.

  • Well documented and informative insight into the delicate balance of nature and stupidity of humans with their need to kill for sport!!
