You're mistaken SpikeCBT1. Macross Movie DYRL is back in print and readily available on amazon.com at a very reasonable price. I got a copy a month or so ago. It also comes with a soundtrack CD including the DYRL signature song. Just go to the movie section on Amazon and type in Macross for a search. You'll see the movie is back! ;-)
@TDoyle131 You obviously reached the old listing on Amazon for this movie, which does show it out of stock. But just search using Macross as your search time and you'll find a new listing for the Perfect Edition of DYRL. You can also find it at Lake Anime dot Com. I just checked both sites and it's available at both Amazon and Lake Anime right now, 9/22/11.

GREAT MACROSS TRIBUTE AMV!! =) It's just a dang shame that the footage from Macross DYRL movie was fansubbed footage. It is very hard to get raw footage, the movie is old and out of print now... =(
@SpikeCBT1 What I found extremely difficult to find, let alone subbed/dubbed was the Macross 2 Lovers Again OVA. (6 disks), only copy I've found is japanese with chinese subs.
@TDoyle131 that was a terrible series. the absolute worst of the lot. in fact, many macross fans rather wished it never existed. so you don't need to gnash your teeth that you can't find it. it's like seeing your grandma naked, you're better off not.
