The vast majority of people that watch the Tonight show have the same opinion of Conan as I do. He simply isn't funny. He's juvenile, sometimes to the extreme, does way too much mindless slapstick and at times can show very poor taste. He might be a riot in clubs or on a college campus, but on network TV he's a total flop and that's why he's no longer on network tv and probably never will be again.

It was a giant mistake to try to put Leno in prime time. Just as it would have been to put Letterman, Conan or anyone that does the kind of late night show they do. It is basically the same stupidity of NBC brass that caused Letterman to leave. They tried to pasify Conan, who obviously wasn't ready to fill the big chair on the Tonight Show. That's why the audience dropped by half. Also his refusal to even try to modify his content to a older audience and you got what you saw, disaster.
